Physiotherapists treat a variety of conditions including:

- Pre and post natal pain, pelvic floor dysfunction

- Soft tissue injuries
Virtual Physiotherapy appointments are done online with clients based in Nova Scotia and may include a combination of the following:
- Movement and posture analysis
- Pilates based rehabilitation
- Therapeutic exercise program design
- Education regarding your diagnosis
- Ergonomic advice

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of movements on a variety of equipment that focuses on posture, core stability, breathing, strength, and flexibility. It is often used to help rehabilitate the body after injury, particularly injuries of the pelvis, low back, or neck. It’s ideal for use in the rehabilitation setting, for general health and well-being, and as a preventive measure to avoid injury. Group Pilates classes on zoom are not billable as physiotherapy. All one on one virtual Physio-Pilates sessions are billed as Physiotherapy.
You can benefit from Pilates if you:
- Have low back, neck or pelvic pain
- Have poor posture or a posture related injury
- Are recovering from childbirth
- Have pelvic floor dysfunction
- Want to improve core stability and muscle imbalances
