Kelly has 16 years experience as a physiotherapist, having several years experience in the hospital setting and in private practice. In 2017, she completed training to become a certified Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapist and uses this stretching technique to help people increase mobility and reduce muscle tension for injury rehabilitation, injury prevention and to maximize athletic performance. She has been a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor since 2006, having completed additional instructor training in matwork, reformer, scoliosis, pre/post natal, osteoporosis, athletic conditioning and injury rehabilitation. Kelly offers both one on one and small group Pilates rehabilitation. She has completed numerous post graduate courses in movement dysfunction, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Kelly prefers a hands-on approach and enjoys helping clients determine the root cause of their pain, not just treat the symptoms. She integrates manual therapy and Pilates to help individuals achieve their goals. Kelly enjoys an active lifestyle and is a former competitive athlete, having competed at the national level in figure skating, track and field and cross country running. She was the Dalhousie University Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams head trainer. Kelly enjoys working with individuals and athletes of all levels and ages.
